In August 2008 the Anderson Company was contracted to perform the excavation, dirt moving, backfilling, and grading of the entire site of the Walmart Supercenter @ Manassas Mall.
The Anderson Company led a team of subcontractors including Ridge Limited for Erosion & Sediment Controls, Capital Drill for Blasting, and Hopke for Dry Utilities.
While on site the Anderson Company played a key role in managing the construction progress as scheduled, and interfacing with PW County Officials in resolving crucial, environmental, and utility issues.

The Construction of the New Home for The Washington Nationals Baseball Team began with The Anderson Company performing the Erosion Control, Foundation Demolition, Excavation, Infield Drainage & Barrier System and Stone Backfill.
The sequencing of the excavation by The Anderson Company Management Team allowed for the installation of the foundations to occur well ahead of schedule. The Anderson Company was able to accomplish this in spite of the challenges it was presented by the sites industrial past that included undocumented underground storage tanks and contaminated soil. The Anderson Company worked closely with the project�s Environmental Consultant to ensure that all contaminants were handled and disposed properly.
